Antique Oval Silver Plated and Oak Biscuit Box

This is an antique silver plated and oak biscuit box. Standing on four ball feet with a silver plated band to the top and bottom which is engraved with swags and clovers. Shield shaped front which is also engraved with leaves. There are two silver plated side handles with balls with a t-bar. Hinged engraved lid with a silver plated liner. The oak body is oval in shape. c.1890 British made with a makers mark stamped underneath. This has been resilvered.
