This is an attractive antique silver plated basket from the Victorian period. Standing on a shaped circular pedestal base, this round basket has a bold mount that is pierced with scrolls and leaves. The swing handle is mounted with scrolls and leaves. The base is crisply engraved around a vacant cartouche. This has been resilvered. c.1880 British made with an unknown makers mark stamped underneath.
