This is an antique silver plated fruit cake or bread basket. Standing on a circular pedestal base. This basket is mounted with leaves and dots to the base and around the top, also this has a matching mount around the swing handle. The base and basket has a crisp engine turned design. c.1910 British made with a makers mark for Mappin Brothers of London stamped underneath. This has been replated.
