This is an antique silver plated and cut glass biscuit barrel box. The base tray is Gadroon mounted with a raised pierced gallery. The cut glass biscuit sits inside. It is cut with vertical stripes with alternate ones cut with diamonds. The top is mounted in silver plate and is bead mounted around with a bold finial. Hinged lid. c1890 British made.
