This is a smart antique silver plated biscuit box by John Grinsell & Sons. Their makers mark is stamped under the hinge. c.1900 British made. This cylindrical biscuit box has a glass faceted body and cut with three horizontal lines. Star cut to base. The silver plated top has a plain hinged lid. Two angular handles to the side. This has been replated.
