An antique silver plated and oak biscuit box. Can be used for ice also. The main body is wood carved horizontally with leaves either side of a silver plated vacant shield. Two silver plated bands are attached to the top and bottom. Swing handle. Retains its original cream ceramic liner. Simple lid with a disc finial. This has been resilvered. c.1920 British made.
