Antique Silver Plated Handbag Shaped Folding Biscuit Box or Warmer

This is an antique silver plated folding biscuit box or biscuit warmer. Shaped like a handbag. The frame is decorated with scrolls and flowers. The body is embossed around a vacant cartouche with scrolls leaves and flowers. The two sides drop down to reveal to grilles. These can be lifted and dropped down together. The inside of the bowls have been gilded. This has also been resilvered. c.1880 British made with a makers mark stamped underneath.
