Here is an ornate silver plated and cut glass biscuit box. Oval in shape. The glass is cut all over in squares with alternate crosses. A silver plated band is mounted to the top. The lid is bead mounted and engraved with swags and also ornately embossed with flowers and swags. The large finial is modelled as sheaf of barley. This has been resilvered. c.1880 British made.
