Smart Vintage Slightly Bulbous Oak and Silver Plated Biscuit Box

Here is a smart vintage oak and silver plated biscuit box. Slightly bulbous body. This has four bands of silver plate wrapped around the wooden body with a silver plated shield in the middle. Pull off lid with a swing handle. Bold disc finial. This has its original ceramic liner. This has been replated. c1940 British made.
