This is a vintage silver plated and oak biscuit barrel. The main body is shaped oak. Mounted with a silver plated band and swing handle. There is a vacant shield attached to the front. This retains its original cream ceramic liner. The finial is of coiled rope with a tag engraved with BISCUITS. c.1930 British made with a makers mark stamped to the side and lid. This has been replated.
