This is an unusual antique silver plated and oak jewellery box. Rectangular in shape and standing on four cone feet. There are two silver plated relief work panels. One to the front and the other on the lid. The front shows people dancing. The lid is a military scene of riders on horseback. The inside retains its original lining. Burgundy velvet inside the lid and purple silk inside. This is sold in original condition with some minor wear. c1880 British made.
