This is an antique silver plated table lamp. Standing on a large square stepped base which is Gadroon mounted. Embossed with an urn and flowers on each side. Traditional Corinthian column with capital. This was originally an oil lamp and later converted to electricity. The original cut glass oil holder bowl screws onto the column and the electric bulb holder is attached. The lamp has been resilvered. c.1880 British made.
