Old Sheffield Plate Campagna Shape Wine Cooler

An antique Old Sheffield Plate wine cooler. c.1830 British made. Of traditional campagna shape. Fluted design to the pedestal base. Bold bunch of grapes below two protruding handles that are decorated with acanthus leaves and shells. The lower half of the body is adorned with a fluted design. Plain upper with an armorial or crest engraved to the front and back. Retains its original inner sleeve and cover that is also crested. This has been resilvered.
