A stylish antique silver plated wine or liquor decanter. Simple glass body with a star cut to the base. Plain silver plated band around its waist and upper part. A chain is attached to the two bands and when pulled the lid opens. Retains its original part gilding inside the lid. Stylish ball finial. This is sold in original plate with little wear. c.1890 British made with a makers mark for Martin Hall & Company stamped under the lid.
