William Hutton & Son Antique Silver Plated Claret Jug
An antique silver plated claret jug. This can be used for hot or cold water also. Bead mounted to base middle and top. Standing on a pedestal base that is embossed with circles and leaves. Rising to a bulbous body that is embossed with leaves and flowers around a vacant cartouche. Shaped handle to the side. Acorn shaped finial. This has been resilvered. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for William Hutton & Son stamped underneath.
This has been registered with Government U.K. as made before 3 March 1947 with less than 10% ivory. The teapot has small ivory insulators on the handle. Exemption certificate submission reference: L7ZPB132.
