Attractive Novelty Antique Silver Plated Brandy Warmer

This is an attractive novelty antique silver plated brandy warmer. Standing on a rocky base with a frog attached, a flower and ferns. The base holds a conical shaped burner with a rope twist mount. Above the base is a rod modelled as a tree trunk with a figural owl perched on top. The owl retains its original orange beaded eyes. From the extending branch is a hook where the cauldron lidded pot dangles. The pot has three spiked legs. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for Atkin Brothers stamped on the front base. This is sold in original plate with little wear.
