This is a large antique silver plated flagon or beer jug. The main body is panelled oak with four horizontal silver plated bands. This has a large pouring lip, looped handle plus a horizontal holder. This retains its original cream ceramic liner which is now crazed. This has been resilvered. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for Thomas Harwood & Sons of Birmingham stamped to the side.
