Attractive Antique Silver Plated Oval Egg Boiler or Coddler

An attractive antique silver plated egg boiler or coddler. The oval egg shaped body is crisply engraved with a geometric pattern with scrolls and leaves. This has an elaborate finial. The original egg holder sits inside. The base tray supports its original burner and is also engraved the same. c.1880 British made with a makers mark stamped underneath. This has been replated.
