An antique silver plated gravy or sauce boat. Gadroon mounted around the fixed tray and also around the jug. The jug is oval in shape with a large pouring lip. The handle is decorated with an acanthus leaf. c.1880 American made with a makers mark for Reed & Barton stamped underneath. This is sold in original plate. Also stamped is 8 OZ meaning capacity.
