Charming Antique Silver Plated Serving Tureen

This is a charming antique silver plated serving tureen. The plain circular base has ornate handles with acanthus leaves. There is an inner liner. The lid has a reeded decoration around the top with an imposing melon finial. c1880 French made with a makers mark stamped underneath. This is sold in original plate.
