Handsome Antique Silver Plated Soup Tureen with Original Liner

This is a handsome antique silver plated soup tureen. Standing on four ornate bold curved feet. Two large shaped handles to the side. This retains its original inner liner. The lid is crisply engraved and has a large cabbage shaped finial. The lid and front is engraved with an armorial or crest of a reclining deer. This is sold in original plate with little wear. c.1850 British made with a makers mark for George Richmond Collis & Co of Birmingham stamped to the side of the inner liner.
