This is a Victorian antique silver plated butter dish. Oval in shape and standing on four pad feet. The legs are bead mounted to roundels. This has two elaborately decorated side handles. The rollover lid is engraved with ferns. This retains its original pierced grille. This is sold on original plate with very little wear. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for George Goodfellow & Sons of London stamped underneath.
