This is an antique silver plated and cow hide hip flask. The lower section has a removable silver plated drinking cup. The upper is bound with brown leather cow hide with an oval slit viewing window. The silver plated lid has a screw fitting and hinge. The cup has been replated, the top is just polished. c.1900 British made with a makers mark for James Dixon & Sons stamped underneath.
