This is an antique silver plated jam or preserve dish. The silver plated tray and lid are engraved with panels of flowers and leaves. The original glass bowl is moulded with a hob nail pattern. This has been resilvered. c.1900 British made with a makers mark for J H Potter of Sheffield stamped underneath.
