Oval Victorian Silver Plated Butter Dish with Roll Over Lid
A Victorian antique silver plated butter dish. Oval in shape and standing on four square shaped feet rising to horizontal reeds with a figural head of a ram. The lid rolls over to reveal an original removable pierced liner. The lid is finely engraved with loops and circles. Centrally engraved vacant shield. c.1880 British made with a makers mark stamped on the inner rim.
