A pretty antique silver plated jam or preserve dish. The silver plated stand sits on four elaborate triangular feet decorated with leaves. The base wide rim is engraved with leaves. This has a fixed handle that is entwined with a vine with flowers at each end. The original cranberry glass liner is adorned with a clear glass swirly top with yellow glass leaves protruding. The silver plated lid is engraved with leaves and a bead mounted button finial. c1880 British made. This has been replated.
