Old Sheffield Plate Meat Dome Cover with Original Meat Flat Base

This is a very handsome antique Old Sheffield Plate meat dome cover with its original meat flat base. The cover and base are both oval in shape with matching indents. The base is mounted with reeds acanthus leaves and crosses. The shaped dome has a large pumpkin finial. Both items share the same crest of an upright arm & hammer. c.1830 British made with a makers figural mark for Creswick & Company of Sheffield stamped underneath the dome and also on the base tray. This is sold in original plate with very little wear.
