This is an antique novelty silver plated cigar stand. Crescent shaped base tray with 6 dimples. Two match holders either side. There is a figure of a cigar seller barefoot holding 6 circles for cigars. On his back are two small horizontal bars possibly for holding a bag. This is sold in original plate with considerable wear. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for John Clarke & Sons stamped underneath.
