This is an antique silver plated marriage wager cup. The lower cup is formed as a lady with a bell shaped dress decorated with embossed scrolls flowers and leaves. The female figure is wearing a short tight fitting bodice with her arms outstretched holding two vertical pierced rods adorned with dragons on top. The smaller cup swivels in between these rods. c.1880 Dutch made. This has been resilvered.
