A novelty antique silver plated spoon warmer in the shape of a submarine. Standing on four realistically modelled dolphin feet with a rope applied to the main body. An anchor is attached to the top with a rope wrapped around rising to a loop handle which is also modelled as a rope. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for Mappin Brothers stamped underneath.
