This is a handsome antique silver plated oak and cow horn dinner gong. Standing on a square wooden base mounted with silver plated corners. Two silver plated prongs are attached to hold the striker. Viking helmet shaped with a vacant shield. Two cow horns stand vertically either side with a silver plated gong attached. This has been resilvered. c.1880 British made.
