A handsome large antique silver plated dinner gong. Modelled as a Viking helmet. The sides are of cow horn mounted top and bottom with silver plated bands. The square oak base is mounted in the corners. Retains its original striker. The large silver plated circular gong dangles in the middle of the two cow horns. c.1880 British made. This has been replated.
