Antique Mappin & Webb Silver Plated Grapes Stand

This is a handsome antique silver plated grapes stand by Mappin & Webb. Their makers mark is stamped underneath. Standing on four ribbed bun feet. The oval dish is crimped around the edge. A realistic bark effect rod protrudes from the back and is decorated with cast vines and leaves with two prongs on top for dangling two bunches of grapes. At the bottom is a bunch of grapes with a leaf and vine. c1880 British made. This has been replated.
