Victorian Novelty Silver Plated Nut Dish with a Squirrel Figure Perched on Top
This is an attractive Victorian novelty silver plated nut dish. c.1880 with a makers mark stamped to the side. Standing on a circular base that has a diagonal fluted decoration. The large oval shell shaped dish has a realistic figure of a squirrel perched on top eating a nut. This has been replated.
