12 Place Silver Plated and Mother of Pearl Handled Fruit or Dessert Set

An antique silver plated and mother of pearl handled fruit or dessert set. This 12 place setting is housed in their original box. The knife blade is finely engraved and has a serrated tip. They have silver plated ferrules that are part fluted. The mother of pearl handles are creamy white and in immaculate condition. Sold in original plate with no sign of use. c.1890 British made with a makers mark for Charles James Allen & Sydney Darwin stamped on each knife. The original mahogany box is purple felt lined inside. Vacant shield cartouche.
