Antique Mappin & Webb Silver Plated Asparagus or Sandwich Tongs

An antique silver plated asparagus or sandwich tongs. The handle is designed with a ribbon & reed decoration with a leaf. The tongs are curved and pierced. Sold in original plate with little wear. c.1900 British made with a makers mark for Mappin & Webb stamped inside together with a registration number.
