Charming Set of Antique Silver Plated Fruit or Dessert Cutlery

These are a charming set of antique silver plated fruit or dessert cutlery with mother of pearl handles. This is a place setting for six. They are housed in their original oak box. The knives have serrated tips and are crisply decorated with leaves and flowers as are the forks. The ferrules have two lines of beaded decoration. The mother of pearl handles are creamy white and are in perfect condition. These are sold on original plate with virtually no wear. The inside of the box is lined with blue velvet. c1880 British made with a makers mark for Charles James Allen & Sydney Darwin stamped on each knife together with a registration number.
