Exceptional Quality Antique Silver Plated Teapot
An exceptional quality antique silver plated teapot. Standing on a pedestal base that is embossed with acanthus leaves as is it’s shoulder. Bead mounted at base middle and top. The main body is embossed with acanthus leaves to the bottom part, embossed with floral swags with figural female faces at intervals. Engraved with swags and bows. Stylish acorn finial. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for Martin Hall & Company stamped underneath. This has been replated.
This has been registered with Government U.K. as made before 3 March 1947 with less than 10% ivory. The teapot has small ivory insulators on the handle. Exemption certificate submission reference: 1YPNTE2A.
