An antique silver plated 4 piece tea & coffee set. Each piece stands on four paw feet. Oval in shape and ornately embossed with scrolls leaves and flowers around a vacant cartouche. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for Edward & Sons of Glasgow stamped underneath. This has been professionally polished and cleaned. Retains its original gilding to the cream and sugar bowl.
This has been registered with Government U.K. as made before 3 March 1947 with less than 10% ivory. The teapot & coffee pot has small ivory insulators on the handle. Exemption certificate submission reference: BFM6J4JL.
