Antique Silver Plated Louis Design Four Piece Tea and Coffee Set

A handsome antique silver plated four piece tea and coffee set. Known as Louis design. Elaborately embossed with scrolls leaves and flowers. Standing on four fancy feet. Open mouthed bird at top of spout and a figure of a man’s head at the base. Outstretched wings of an eagle finials. This has been resilvered. c.1890 British made with a makers mark for Barker Brothers stamped underneath. Please note that the cream jug is of a different design.

This has been registered with Government U.K. as made before 3 March 1947 with less than 10% ivory. The teapot and coffee pot has small ivory insulators on the handles. Exemption certificate submission reference: BFPCSMKU
