Handsome Antique Silver Plated Tea Set by Martin Hall & Company

A handsome antique silver plated tea set. Comprising a teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug. Mounted with acanthus leaves to top and bottom. Crisply engraved with arches and tassels dots ferns and scrolls within a geometric fashion. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for Martin Hall & Company stamped underneath. This has been resilvered.

This has been registered with the government U.K. as made before 3 March 1947 with less than 10% ivory. The teapot has small ivory insulators on the handle and an ivory finial. Exemption certificate submission reference: 9S69FRJ6.
