Antique Old Sheffield Plate Samovar or Tea Urn

This is an antique Old Sheffield Plate samovar or tea urn. Standing on a domed engraved pedestal and four bold scrolled feet. The bulbous body is engraved with leaves and flowers around a vacant cartouche. The large tap has t-bar ends and is ornately decorated with scrolls and shell. Two bold elaborate side handles. The pull off lid is adorned with a rose and a leafy skirt. This is sold in original plate with copper showing on the engraving. c.1830 British made.
