Unusual Antique Silver Plated Toast Rack by Thomas Harwood of Birmingham

An unusual antique silver plated toast rack by Thomas Harwood of Birmingham. Their makers mark is stamped underneath. Standing on four elaborately decorated curled feet. The pierced base tray is bead mounted. The 7 bars are pierced and fan outwards from the middle. This can take 8 slices of toast. The middle bar is also bead mounted with a wreath handle above ribbons and a central bow. c1880 British made. This is sold in original plate with little wear.
