This is an antique Old Sheffield plate snuffer or wick trimmer tray. Gadroon mounted around the long edge and bead mounted below with leaves and flowers at the tip. The base of the tray is engraved with leaves and flowers around a vacant cartouche. c.1830 British made. This has been resilvered.
