This is an antique Old Sheffield Plate wick trimmer and tray. The tray is rectangular in shape and is mounted with scrolls and shells. The original scissor action wick trimmer sits in top. It is decorated with a roundel and mounted with scrolls. It has three ball feet. This is sold on original plate with very little wear. c.1830 British made.
