Antique Elkington Silver Plated Wine Bottle Holder

An antique silver plated wine bottle holder. It takes a bottle with a deep dimple. The bottle sits on the base and the side handle can be adjusted by turning the ornate disc to the required height. A circular band at the top goes over the bottle neck. This is sold in original plate. Wine bottle can be included as it is empty. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for Elkington & Company stamped to the side and underneath.
