Antique WMF Silver Plated Wine or Port Cradle

This is an antique silver plated wine or port cradle. Standing on four pad feet, the oval tray has an engine turned decoration. The wine or port sits in the cradle and it is lowered gently to retain the base sediment by using the side ratchet. This has been replated. c1880 German made with a makers mark for WMF stamped underneath. Wine is not included.
