These are a handsome pair of antique silver plated wine or decanter coasters. Round stepped bases with turned wood inserts. The central silver plated disc is engraved with an armorial or crest. The raised pierced cast gallery is decorated with grapes vine and leaves. These are sold in original plate with very little wear. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for Elkington & Company stamped to the side.
