This is a fabulous quality antique silver plated basket. Standing on an oval pedestal base embossed vine leaves and grapes and mounted with rope twist. The oval boat shaped basket also is mounted with rope twist as is the handle. Decorated to the sides with tassels and with tassels on the handle. The bowl is embossed with vine leaves and grapes. The centre is engraved with an armorial or crest. c.1880 British made with a diamond registration kite mark stamped underneath. This is sold in original plate with some wear.
