An unusual antique silver plated basket being square in shape. Standing on four realistic claws. Swing handle. The raised edge flap to the sides and is embossed with scrolls. A square engraving with scrolls around a vacant cartouche. This has been resilvered. c.1880 British made with a makers mark stamped underneath.
